Tried to update to latest firmware tonight. Update failed at 69%. Was not able to shut the mavic down in a normal way,had to remove the battery.

Also, at the end of the attempted update the two middle diods on the battery started to flash and they dont shut of even if the battery is removed from the mavic.

I tried to charge the two other batteries up to 100%. Put one of them in the mavic and the update went flawlessly. When I now try to put the first battery in it says "inconsistant software" and when I start update it says that the battery is under 50%. I think the problem in the first place is that the battery went under 50% while updating. How do I fix this? The battery seems to be bricked.

Will do. But will the assistant software start the update when one battery is under 50%?

Yes, if you connect the usb port of the aircraft into a computer running DJI Assistant..

Yes it will[emoji5]️ thanx Bbuzatto!
Everything went ok now[emoji5]️
