upgrade to my ground station

added a hdmi wireless tx and rx. Tx plugs straight into top of the smart controller or any other hdmi out device then i have about 30m range to the ground station, all self powered.

Thanks mate, I’m happy how it has turned out and how well it works.
It will work on any system that has hdmi out, so fairly versatile.

Hey thats a pretty tight setup. Im actually looking to do something just like it. Do you still like it or find it too combersom? I just got my smart controller for hdmi and ease of setup and now im looking to boost my range by antenna. Searching around I found these ready to cases and I wanted to get some advice or reviews from other pilots. The site says mavic pro and i use my m2 the most but im sure they have it compatible now.

I don’t use it all the time. But I actually had it out today for the first time in a while. Great when you have observers of to the side

I also have the tactical ground station you list above, for my mav 1. I did set it up with the mav 2 but did not see any significant increase, even boosted, over the smart controller. I’ve tried a few different options to boost the mav 2 and have not had much luck. Works great for mav1 though

thats big letdown about how well they worked on ur M2. I really want to be able to pilot my m2 from inside my truck or camper

It’s just a tv with a portable 240v supply.
The tactical does work with the mav2, you just don’t get any performance boost. But the mav 2 is still good without the boost. It would be a viable option to fly from inside a vehicle with the antennas mounted on the roof
