Upgrading to Assistant 2 v2.0.10

I have Assistant 2 v2.0.8 on my computer right now. DJI says the new assistant 2 is v2.0.10 . I would guess the .10 is an upgrade. I was wondering if I could just download the 2.0.10 version or do I need to delete the 2.0.8 version first.

safest is to uninstall the older version

Always uninstall first...Clean everything out first...

Checking in on the release notes for DJI Assistant 2 (v2.0.10) is says that this is what has changed from v2.0.8:
What's new
【Mavic mini】
1. Add support for Firmware Update.
2. Add support for Flysafe data Update. 3. Add support for Log Export.
4. Add support for Simulator.
【Mavic mini Remote Controller】
1. Add support for Firmware Update.

That's it. So I guess if you have a Mavic Mini you should update. If you have other mavic supported models (eg mavic 2), not sure it is necessary (or even wise?) to update.

Is that the general consensus here? Are DJI's release note typically fairly inclusive of all changes, or could there be some changes and bug fixes (good or bad) that are not documented in their release notes?
