USB-C cable for MA2 RC

I know the cable for the MM rc only connects one way. Does it make a diff. on the rc cable for the MA2? Charging the rc for the first time. It does look to be reversible like a lighting, just being sure.

It is USB type C. Yes it's reversible.

Great thanks, also when charging the battery for the first time directly without the hub is it ok the also charge the rc at the same time. The charger does get pretty warm just charging the battery alone.
