I want to connect my n3 googles as a monitor viewer to my googles 3/Avata 2 for a friend to view and get that immersive affect. I can connect an iPad by usb-c cable and they can view that but not the same as googles. Tried connecting the 2 via usb c cable and setting the n3 as audience but doesn’t work. Am I missing some setting or is this a no-go? Any other options?

It WORKS!! BUT you cant use a cable.
The Goggles 3 can wirelessly broadcast its signal to the N3 using the built-in "Audience" and "Broadcast" modes, with no cables required for this method.
Check your manual there should be an example or explanation there..
