Using Quickshots for photography on Mini 3

I’m thinking about buying the Mini 3 to help with my travel photography (rather than for video)

I was wondering if there was a way to use the various quickshots modes to help take photos, while reducing the need to manually pilot the drone every inch of the way.

So, instead of having to get the drone to manually circle a cathedral, I could just get it to orbit the cathedral - pausing at various points to take shots.

Is this possible?

Quickshots I believe are a video only mode. You would need to fly manually for what you are looking for.

Quickshots (like mastershots) are for video clips only. You can, however grab high resolution 'frame' stills from any 4K 60fps footage and output to TIFF format so you can take the rough edges off the uncompressed image file with post processing software. Nowhere near as good as shooting a dedicated still, but do-able.
