Testified verbatim by the replacement SS director, under oath, at today's Congressional hearing.

Anyone who's flown a drone knows this is complete BS. Neither wifi, or an internet connection are necessary to fly, record images and video.

Someone lied to the director and told him that. This mendacity in the aftermath of the assassination attempt is extraordinary. Whoever's mouth that explanation came out of must be fired.

This entire debacle makes me angry and so many should be fired.
You can see at least 2 of the acting director's answers to drones, you can hear for yourself; sounds like someone got logged out and couldn't login because they struggled with the wifi or maybe there was a forced download or update and they didn't want to bother and called it a "challenge."
