Edit: I would add that many forum members have had issues with both 4K jittery video and storage issues, due to slower, older computers. So, if you're on an older computer and don't want to spend a bunch of money before you can view and edit footage, 1080p or possibly 2.7k might be a good choice. Shoot some 4k footage to see if your computer can handle it. If you're anything like me, running 8 processor cores at 4.7GHz each with 15TB+ of storage ~ you're golden at 4k.
