My main drone these days is a Mavic 3 Pro. Some of the limitations with it include a current challenge to find a 'handbag' that meets British Airways size limits, as well as flight limits in the UK for being >250g.

Would buying a Mini 4 Pro in London (I'll be there a week before going to the Yorkshire countryside) make any sense?

Larger drones are not that restricted outside of urban areas, sub-category A3 rules (look on CAA website) are very straightforward. There's plenty of open country around Yorkshire/Lancashire where your Mav 3 will be perfect.

If you're planning to fly in London or the suburbs: yes, an A1/A3 drone (Mini 4 Pro) will give you more leeway as long as you can get it up in the air between the NFZ's.... but won't you get slapped with duties when you take it back home?

Actually, we'll be in full group vacation mode in London and I don't plan to get the drone out at all. Just can't expect the others to wait on me.

Yeah, I'm on the fence, as the Mavic 3 Pro's three lenses should give me reasonable views of just about everything. Still pondering...

If I did want to buy in London, any suggestions on retailers?

Last time I was in the smoke: Duran Duran was still popular (and young)... so its safe to say I'm not current with London shopping.

But I may have solved your other problem... the one about the Brit reg bag...

You're spoiled for choice when it comes to impressive countryside once you're north of the Watford Gap... Take the big girl for a holiday.

Don't I know it! I have 5 weeks in Yorkshire!!! :)

Don't think I want to go with a hard bag. I've been that route and it didn't suit me. Thanks though.

You will have to pay import fees and Taxes when you bring it back to the U.S. Expensive mini 4 IMO
