Best part of my life was spent in the islands! Went for 3 months and ended up staying for 10 years! If you get a chance, head up to Haleakala and the 7 Sacred Pools. Upcountry Kula and Makawao are breathtaking. Just take 4 hours and drive around the mountain. You'll love it!
