Waypoints

Ok I'm a property preservation specialist.part of my job is taking photos of roof tops to show what condition they are in. I have to do this on a monthly basis with the same properties.is it possible to fly a route set waypoints on the specific thing I need photos of ie. Chiminy, exhaust pipes and vents save those waypoints and use them everytime I visit that property?
Any help would be appreciated

Sounds like a perfect application for Waypoints. There are loads of tutorials on YouTube - and I suggest you take note of the way that you can make your Drone face the direction you want it to when it reaches each waypoint. Be careful about where your first waypoint is and what's between you and the drone when you engage the sequence!

That k you also when flying waypoints can you program the aircraft to take pictures or do you have to do it manually?

You didn't mention what model Mavic you have. M2 doesn't support waypoints yet. At least not with Go app.

You can use Litchi with the M2P and the waypoints work just fine. You can program the drone to pre-set points take photos and videos as required and save the mission in Litchi Mission Hub. Simply load up the appropriate mission each time you visit a property. Easy to edit them too if you need to adjust it.

I received my MA yesterday, got it activated and synced with my phone and am ready to fly. However today is an extremely windy day with gusts to 32 so will wait.
In the mean time I would like to learn about using waypoints. The video I watched was helpful to a degree but where can I read in detail about using waypoints and which app is the most preferred by you pilots?
