Im using the dji rc controller from a mavic 3 pro but now I want a bigger screen when i fly.
Was thinkingbif a samsung tab A8 but will it work with my controller?

Just want to plug the cable in the controller and tablet and be able to fly.

I have an old Tripltek tablet (7" Pro) that I use for my MA2.

The newer Triplteks are much better.

A little pricey but well worth it because of the bright screen when flying in the sunlight, along with the long battery life, and it's rugged construction.

There are many tablets that will run DJI Fly, including teh Samsung A8.

You will need to get a RC-N1 controller and an adapter to hold the tablet, like this.
You should be able to find one cheap on eBAY.

Why cant i use it with the controller that have a built in screen?

My opinion only
BlackView makes a great tablet and is cheaper than most ,Walmart has several to choose from

I just ordered one of these - Lenovo LEGION Y700 2023
Wish me luck!
Specs are outstanding and didn't want anything larger.
Have a Samsung 10" that works but IMO is to large / heavy.
Ordered from AliExpress, we'll see.

You can, not sure what outputs the RC has ( I have the RC Pro ). Whatever large tablet you get, you will need an app to receive and mirror the screen on your controller, there are few out there, ( I use nExt Cam ) I use a 15 foot HDMI cable and adapter to send a signal from the Controller to the Tripltek 9 so that others can see what I have on my controller screen.

I am not sure if this is what you are trying to accomplish, but there's no way you are going to hold both the RC and large tablet simultaneously to operate and keep an eye on your drone.
