Fascinated by these birds flying to the same mangroves in Darwin Harbour for months, and wanted to document the flight with the DJI Mavic Air. Please comment below if you know what the birds are.
The mangrove communities of Darwin Harbour are a significant natural resource and are amongst the most diverse in Australia. Approximately 50 species are regarded as ‘mangroves’ worldwide - 36 of these occur naturally in Darwin Harbour, occupying an area of approximately 20,400 hectares (Approx. 5% of the NT’s and 0.1% of remaining world mangrove area).
Darwin is home to over 400 species of birds, making the region a bird watchers must visit.
