I had VLOS, but I still had to turn around, because I can't agree more. Don't want to be evading birds, just to smash in to a tree at 40mph.

my friend dont be so touchy about VLOS, i never mentioned VLOS at all in my post, it was clear in the video, from the speed you were doing on the way back that you were in sport mode
and my comment, was just a tongue in cheek attempt at some humour please do not become paranoid about the flying rules ,you know as well as me what they are ,just fly your drone and enjoy it

OMM wasn't trying to say anything like that. Just, after my last post I'm making sure to qualm any worries on the front end lol.

I saw the humour, but read too deep I suppose. I'm just defensive after my last thread went way off the deep end.

I love flying. It's literally my anti-anxiety drug. Thanks for the sage advice man.

I am in said car, and was well aware of the wires lol... i have a video where i came directly in front of the car (perpendicular to the drivers seat), and that one... that's the one where i forgot about the power lines lol. close call, but came out unscathed.

the homepoint button on the remote does actually stop the drone faster in sport mode. jsyk
