Why is it that when signal is weak, you can't switch between video/stills and can't take pics?

I found that you still do much functions when the signal starts to weak but I have to repeatedly press these buttons and pray that it actually does it. Any way around this?

If the signal is not getting from you to your craft, it's not going to receive your inputs

Got it. I just think its strange that other inputs work but not that one.

Everything else works? That's weird.

Normally (for me anyway), the first sign to losing signal is gimbal or yaw is laggy, and if I attempt to take a pic or start video it might take a few attempts.

Never had it when it's just photo/video affected though...
