Pretty sure you need a mount bracket as controller size isn’t much different then mp

It does fit, the controller arms need to be at their full extent and it's a bit of a squeeze but it does grip the corners well, and will work with a sun hood as well.

I have been using my ipad mini 2 with no problems with the mavic 2, I also used it with the first one as well. Did buy a cord with a 90 degree connection from the Ipad

OK--I got it to fit. I was too gentle first try.

Is it any good as far as speed is concerned? I have one and it was really bad with my Mavic Pro

My iPad Mini 2 worked perfectly with the original Mavic Pro but in the couple of test flights I've done with the Mavic 2 Pro it's thrown up errors of the processor being maxed out and delays in updating the screen and breaks in the cached video. There are plenty of people reporting similar, I haven't yet tried suggested workarounds. I'd rather not have the additional cost of a new laptop or phone.
