Xs max with Mavic 2 remote

It looks to me like the claws of the new remote are a bit too thin for this device. I use it with a tiny case (large phone too dangerous to use with no case). It hardly fits in the remote and is a bit scary to use that way.

Any suggestions?

I use this sometimes.

I use a mavmount. It has specific holder for the type of display device used including ones with protective cover.
