Its using panoramic photo by using the optical zoom feature and then stitching them all, fully automatic.
Here is a picture I took using the superresolution 48MP on the M2Z. It gets a pretty resolution on a single photo.
It's a panorama.. But it's a tricky one It's the result of some clever firmware programming from the folks at DJI.
A normal panorama will give you more than you can see on your device screen (to the left, right, above or below) depending on which pano mode you choose when you take the image.
The super rez function takes nine zoomed images and assembles them into exactly what you saw on your screen when you took the shot. The zooming gives you the extra resolution.
I like the shots you posted. It's fun to make them full screen at 100% and then explore them by scrolling around.
