Zoom in feature

Just wondering. A friend has the Mavic 1st edition and he has a small amount of zoom on the camera. Yet us lot with the new Mavic 2 Pro, don’t have any zoom. I know if I wanted zoom I would have bought the Mavic 2 Zoom but I would of thought you’d have a little amount of zoom on the camera. Little let down. But hey the Mavic 2 Pro is a brilliant bit of kit. Can’t fault it

Any zoom on the Mavic 2 Pro would just be a digital zoom, just as it was on the original Mavic Pro. You can achieve the same result after the fact simply by cropping the image, whether it's a still photo or video. Really, it's the same thing.

Filming in 4k you can add zoom and panning to your 1080 HD final video when you do your editing, looks smooth and original.

My Mavic Pro Platinum will do digital Zoom, but it's very restricted as to what video format it will do it on (definitely not the HD), and [not that I've played with it much] it's only minimal - like 2x or something low.
