    Skin's to prevent bird attacks?

Haha!! I'm up in Darwin so the skies filled with Galahs and Wedgetails, they get close but don't attack, little Peewee's (like mini Magpies) are the real issue, had one take out of Parrot A.R a few months ago.

    Skin's to prevent bird attacks?

Haha!! The suggestions are awesome, girlfriend isn't too pleased with the idea of the cat skin drone though dsd317, interestingly, although the birds of prey here in Australia are quite large, I've mostly had issues with the smaller birds in previous flights, maybe the orange skin would be best.

    Skin's to prevent bird attacks?

G'day, On this site I have seen many different methods of avoiding bird attacks but I'm curious to know if a brightly coloured or even a camo skin would scare the birds away, Thanks.

    FCC Australia

Thanks all, I wouldn't go as far to fly it out of LOS, It's dangerous and I also have had bad experiences with birds so the less nesting area flown over the better. I was just curious as I had seen the two different ranges in Specs and I was still struggling to understand the concept of CE and...

    FCC Australia

Hi all, Is anyone familiar in the range performance of the Mavic in Australia. I have read that the range is cut down to the CE Compliant 2.5 mi (4 km) however others are saying they have had no issues with the full FCC Compliant 4.3 mi (7 km). Any ideas?

Mavic: Tropical Climates and Care Refresh.

Haha, I guess Heelers are called land sharks for a reason, problem is usually the Pee Wee's up here, had a Parrot 2.0 wrecked because of them, the Wedgetails and Galahs will come and have a look but they wont come close, Plovers are another risk, especially out on the wetlands.

Mavic: Tropical Climates and Care Refresh.

Wouldn't that look fantastic, I'd love to try it over one of the rivers up here but I'm not to keen on losing it to birds ect

Mavic: Tropical Climates and Care Refresh.

Thanks MalM16, I'm in Darwin so I was a bit unsure about how it would handle the wet season, Now do you think we can get DJI to include crocodile damage in the Care Refresh deal? ;)

Mavic: Tropical Climates and Care Refresh.

G'day all, I'm planning on ordering the Mavic soon but I just had a few questions for those who already own them. 1) Firstly, I've flown quadcopters for most of my life but I still believe that DJI Care Refresh sounds like a great idea, do most people recommend it, and has someone had any...
