Okay. Have you tried the USB C on the bottom of the CS?

I connect my CS to the RC using the USB on the bottom of the RC and the CS using a 10 inch USB C cable. No extra slack and no issues. I just noticed you're flying the Air. Im not similar with that controller so Im not sure if you have a USB on the bottom of the RC or not.

No problem.

When I used my iPad mini I just slid the iPad into the controller. It fits perfectly and theres no need to carry any extra parts to mount the device. But I no longer use that for my display. Whatever works for you. As long as you're comfortable then, right on.

I'm just trying to figure out how you're able to control your drone while your thumb is on the cable. Or even get your thumb back there in the first place.
