Hi guys, just a quick query... If I were to purchase an iPad mini 4 (the opinion seems to be this is quite a good device for the mavic?) with GPS... Do I need to pay for a contract to use the GPS features, or is it that this model just happens to have the GPS built in? Thanks very much

Hi, just read your post. I have the same phone, and have recently got a mavic (1 flight in beginner mode so far!), but have been getting a little concerned with a lot of people reporting problems with the Android apps crashing or losing connection, so was actually contemplating buying an iPad...

Braved a bit of wind to take my new Mavic out for its first flight. Everything connected without issue, and I just got to grips with controls (moved from an eHang Ghost drone2) in beginner mode. Everything perfect, and very pleased until landing where it stated 'not safe place to land, please...
