IDK in all honesty... I was using litchi for waypoints and the mav stopped half way through, and just hovered. I hit the rth button, and the sucker just sat there in the sky. I ended up throwing the sport switch, and it finally 'broke loose' and I was able to control it again. Weird... maybe...

In the mean time, the other folks nailed one important part.... white balance... Try to steer away from auto... use sunny or cloudy... or hell, even set it to 5500k. That should keep things semi decent until your polar pro nd's come in.

No no no... lol. The rc don't need to be plugged into the mavic... it should be plugged into the computer... lol. I'm thinking of rolling back to .550 or 500... we'll see what happens.

Honestly, i updated my controller by plugging it into my imac, and used dji assistant 2 software. When I opened the software, logged in, clicked on the rc button, it gave me all the available firmwares. Updated without issue. As far as your gimbal, i honestly have zero clue. I'd try...

Firmware of both rc and mav are .600 That's possible too from what I've read. Now that you say that, it usually does it with my samsung 64gb card. I'll try the 16gb card it came with and see if that corrects the issue. Thanks. I'll report back if problem still persists.

For some reason I can't get the log files off. They act as if they are placeholder files maybe... IDK if DJI can delete the content in them or not, but it seems that maybe this mavic isn't 'used' and just has a bunch of cosmetic issues. I just took it out for a quick 'wing stretching' flight...

So I just got a mavic back from the repair facility... There's no R in the serial, but there's some cosmetic damage all over it. Looks pretty used. I downloaded the .dat file from the mavic, and it appears there's 3 flights from Jan, but no data... at least that the assistant software can...

I know this is just an opinion, but I found an amazing hard case for the Mavic on Amazon for under $50. It fits the remote, mavic, 2 spare batteries, charger, extra props, all the extra cables, the usb charger (for the battery to usb). Fits everything in the fly more bundle (minus the car...
