I hear you. What spots have you found? So far I've liked niawanda park, and off my friend's dock on the niagara river. I'd love to find an accessible (legal) spot on the gorge/lower river.

Maybe once the weather takes a turn we should figure out a good location for a meetup. Anyone have suggestions? There are some parks in the Buffalo area if you aren't afraid of flying over the river

Regardless of the wind warnings, I have noticed a significant difference in stability between my p4 and mavic, I assume the weight is the biggest factor here, as well as potentially the aerodynamics of the different body designs.

I used course lock to keep it heading up the beach, but the panning was manual.

I'm in wheatfield actually. So far best place I've found is over the river off my friend's dock. Niawanda park was recommended by someone on phantompilots.

I had warnings in 12-16 mph wind. Wind speed was calculated by healthy drones but matched closely to local weather stations.

I have the polar pro cinema series and have no issues getting them on or off. If you leave the gimbal guard on while installing I find it makes it easier.
