Well, the day I dreaded, came. The DJI GO 3 app stopped supporting the Mavic pro. I know my Samsung Tab a6 7'' does not work well at all with the GO 4 app. Guess I'll have to invest in an iPad. How many Android devices have been rendered useless as a dedicated screen, now that they can not...

The 4 GO app (probably) works with high-specs Android devices (I cannot confirm that, though).

If you use Apple products (iPhone, iPad), you should use the 4 app. Unfortunately, I have for my designated screen the Samsung Tab a6 7'' (2016) and this device only performs well with the 3 app. And the support for the Mavic on the 3 app ends at February :-(

It seems that the V.3 GO app works with the low-end (budget) devices (like my Samsung Tab a6 7''), unlike the V.4 GO app, that seems to require more powerful specs to run smoothly. Maybe DJI will fix it (if possible) in the future.

I encountered some issues (glitchy screen while flying and disconnections) with the 7'' Samsung tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tablet A6 2016), but only on the DJI GO app 4. Try the GO app 3. Also, close all open apps and "don't cache locally". Hope this helps.

Hey there, I experienced the same issues, but after some advice from fellow Mavic pilots, I found out that: The DJI GO app 4 is (for now) glitchy on this device (Samsung Galaxy Tablet A6), use the GO app 3, close all other apps and "don't cache locally". Hope this helps.

Try the GO app 3. Don't "cache locally". Close all apps before opening GO app 3. Worked for me. Hope this helps.

I have the same tablet and I had the same problem. Use the GO app 3, not the 4. Close all background apps, tell the GO app not to cache locally and make sure your tablet's memory is not loaded. I took it out today and I had zero problems. Hope this helps.
