Hi! I have activated my goggles with my mavic pro. Do i need to activate my goggles both through drone and dji assistant? If not it should work fine but cannot use it with the hdmi cable to watch movies or play video games and and when I turn off my drone the goggles still in the "drone screen" and can't find out how too leave it?

Nope, activation only needed once through either option, if they weren't activated you couldn't use them. HDMI should activate itself automatically as soon as you connect a source. You might want to try to select it in the menu.
