Is the only disadvantage using airplane mode the loss of a live map? I realize you can pre-cache a map location but are any other functions for the Mavic not available while in airplane mode?

"Follow Me Mode" will not work too, as the remote controller uses GPS from the mobile device.

Nor will you be able to fly in authorization zones as they use the internet to authorize the flight.
