Android app drains battery way too much

The days that I fly my Mavic, I find myself recharging the battery for my galaxy s6 active a few hours before going to bed. Bottom line, this app drains the battery big time, even after force closing the thing. When I don't use Dji go 4, I can get 36 hours battery time. When using it, maybe 20.
