“Made for iPhone” is some sort of guarantee that a product works with an iPhone and that this is agreed with by Apple. Doesn’t mean it’s not made to work with an android device. It will work fine with an android phone, depending on the specs.

I don’t have an Air 2 but I am pretty sure an Android phone running Android 6 – 64 bit should work fine.

The MA2 is a great machine with a great camera. Lots of cool stuff to shoot in your part of Australia. And yes, it will work well with you Android phone. Be glad you got the Combo kit. You'll love having those extra batts.

Read the manual (link below), and be conservative at first. Practice using "Find My Drone". Don't wait until you lose your MA2 before you try to learn how to find it. The Mavic Air 2 certainly - 100% - works with Android.
