Just curious maybe I'm missing something. It why with all the tech that's in the drone didn't they just have your device connect by Bluetooth and eliminate the cable altogether

Or would that not work.

There's a few reasons, firstly bluetooth isn't suitable for that sort of high bandwidth use and while there are other suitable wireless standards like wifi, those could interfere with the connection between the controller and the drone.

blocking the phones charging port is a huge issue for me. My iPhone 6 plus doesn't live more than 10-15minutes here in the cold. This is a big issue with iPhones, my only hope is getting an android or hoping that Apple will for once wipe their *****. I'm not hopefully of that based on the amount of **** they've left there in the past....

Yep. Went skiing last year, whole day and lost less then 50% batt power. Maybe because I was not on internet [emoji16]
