Cached videos

I was quite surprised to be able to view on RC Pro controller the cached videos as if they were shot in Normal color profile even though they were shot in D-log profile. Playing them back from the micro SD card does not give that option and they are only playing as they were shot - flat. I guess that is to be expexted but wonder why that switch in Fly App alloving to see the D-log videos as "Normal" while recording can not be utilized when playing back the D-log clips from the card?

That's because you're looking at 2 different recordings... the one on your SD card is made by the drone camera with it's specific setting, the cached low res video is instead a recording of the live view shown on the RC... the cached video will include all you might see in the live view like connection disturbances & similar, and this video will not take the settings you dial in for the main drone camera.
