Cant change the settings

As new to the Magic, i have been watching various youtube videos to look at to setups, and obviously they show various alterations on the app.

However, everytime i try and change a setting, it either doesn't let me or defaults back to the original. Any idea why? I have taken it out of beginner mode but it makes no difference.

Is your Mavic connected to DJI GO? Most of the settings are stored on the Mavic, so it needs to be connected to DJI GO when you're making changes.
