Great capture of the cormorant. Surprised the bird did not get spooked and fly away when you got close to it. Very nicely done.

I think there might be a difference from anhinga (seen in the Everglades) and a cormorant, which has several varieties.

I'd guess I was about 6 foot from it. I only zoomed in towards the end and back out again. The mini 4 is so quiet many birds are cool, seagulls also don't care much. Many other birds freak out, depends on the species.
I was just lucky the bird was there as the sun set.
