According to my incomplete flight records my drones have performed 610 RTH's, the average goHomeheight is 25.67m.
The largest climb was the result of a mistake on my part, 200m+. (NOT a mistake I will repeat.)
The lowest starting point for an RTH was -120m. Unrelated to the largest climb.

I dunno, you might think me more daft after I tell you that in 8 years of multi rotor flight, I just performed my first ever RTH two weeks ago.o_O And that was on a four year Old Typhoon H Plus, because I had never done it before. Height of return was 40 meters and the distance was 1,250 feet.:)

LOL yeah, I have got some night shooting coming up and I wanted to make sure that in the event I need to use RTH, I wanted to see it during the daytime and yeah . . did just like it was supposed to.

You sound like a flat lander. I fly the Rocky Mountains a lot and I’m always cussing the 1,640 ft ceiling. I’ll get half way up a mountain and have to fly sideways after that.

Flatlander, no, mountainer no, somewhere in between, not many 500m ascents near me lol
