No. That was shot at 10:15AM about 45min before sunrise. We are getting roughly 4hr of daylight. The sun does come above the horizon but not very much. We are gaining somewhere around 5 or so minutes every day now...

That light state is wonderful. We were in Iceland in November and experienced the same semi twilight conditions.

I was telling a friend that when I started photography with an SLR in 1969 the rule ( I lived in the lower 48) was to not shoot from 10AM to 2PM because the shadows/lighting was crummy. There is no such problem in Alaska even in the summer
