Should one put the gimbal clamp back on after every flight and before you pack it away in the case or backpack. I have just been putting the plastic dome back on and not the clamp ... thanks.

One should put the gimbal lock back on before transporting the Mavic. The camera/gimbal is fragile, so you don't want it bouncing around when powered down.

I know Gimbal clamp is a little tricky to put on. I purchased a new Gimbal lock from Dynamic 3D Solutions which arrived yesterday though I have not tried it on yet. This will be much easier to put on I hope. I got the one that fits the PolarPro lens.
