New pilot here, just got a used Mavic Air in great condition. Looking forward to getting out and getting up.
Have found some great info here and on YouTube. One question I have is, can I use a phone without service
for my controller. Thank you.

Yes.

I fly with a WiFi only mini4 and have no problems.
