Hi. I've been posting here for a few weeks, so figured I should stop by and say hello. I'm new to RC quadcopters and video drones with my recently purchased Mavic Pro. I live in the dreary, overcast (at the moment) Midwest, so haven't gotten to taken any great videos, but have been getting in a lot of practice, including some bumps and bruises. My goal is to be ready for prime time next summer to take my Mavic Pro to Hawaii to shoot videos of all the beautiful waterfalls, volcanoes, and beaches. I have a lot of transferrable skills - was into RC cars as a "kid", have an eye for photography (although little experience), and love vacationing to beautiful places, so I'm hoping this is the perfect hobby. I've also been around the online forum block a few hundred times, so am looking forward to participating in the community here as well .
