As far as I can tell, ICM (Intentional camera movement) photography is hugely popular with DSLR owners but has been largely ignored by drone photographers. It's a useful tool for creating abstract images, but most abstract drone photography seems to be beautiful birds eye landscapes. So I applied for a research grant from the institution I teach photography at and have been exploring what techniques are possible.
