Incidents like this make it difficult for the rest if us.

It's definitely the Mavic. You can see the battery bounce out in the video too. Unfortunately pilots who have blatant disregard to the restricted airspace and laws really do so much damage to those of us who try to fly properly.

Weird it looked way to big to be a Mavic, but that is definitely Mavic camera.

Also to be honest it is highly unlikely that this would have killed someone , I don't think the Mavic has enough mass to go through a windshield at 70km/h. Doesnt make this ok though

The bigger problem is that the drone operator broke multiple laws to be in this space. The entire Sydney Harbour is a restricted flight zone as there are many helicopters and seaplanes that fly low on scenic flights in the area. You're also not allowed to fly over heavily populated areas, which the Harbour Bridge would classify as. Furthermore you must keep more than 30m away from properly and people at all times in Australia. All of which he had no care for. Some people just have no care for others safety.

It looks like it was in the process of crashing when it hit the car as if the pilot had hit a suspension wire.
One less a-hole pilot out there.
