Initial setup & no live feed?

Followed along w DJI videos, manual etc and have everything charged and attached for the initial setup. Phone is mounted, update run and all items are powered up. I have no live feed on my phone yet I can take pictures and view them.

Ideas on what I have missed?

Sounds like your phone isn't connecting properly. Try running a different USB cable out of the bottom of the controller to your phone. Just a thought...

Are you using the cable that came with the unit or one plugged into the USB port? Whichever one you're using make sure the other is not plugged in

Does your phone actually connect to the RC? Can you access the drone settings in the app?

I had that problem with my old Phantom 3, it would connect but didn't show the camera view. Turns out it was a faulty unit and the camera was broken but tilting the camera worked.
