I was flying my M2P in Hawaii where I got a forced 150m altitude limit since it was near an airport. I believe not within the 5miles radius but within the approach cones, however, I am not sure about this. I got disconnected from the AC when I accidently flew behind a hill. When I reconnected, the AC had broken its own 150m limit, it was at 156m, to get over the hill. It also used Obstacle Avoidance very wisely, against the sun, as the video on the SD showed, to get over the hill. Quite scary actually, to see this afterwards. Its possible that I was on the edge of the 5mile radius which allowed the AC to go over 150m, but I doubt it. I got very lucky. Does anybody know if RTH would allow the AC to break its own restrictions, or whether maybe the hill was on the outside of the radius?
