The Mavic Air reviews were tempting and it is half the price of a Mavic 2 Pro. I vacillated for a few days.
Depending on what you intend to do with a drone, the Air will perhaps suffice for 80+% of the things you want to do at half the price.
Plus, the extended range and flying time of the Mavic 2 is rendered less meaningful by the FAA rules of 400 feet altitude and line-of-site flying.
The thing that finally made me shell out the extra bucks is the low light capability of the Hasselblad camera system.
That said, I love the size of the Air. We do a lot of hiking and long bike rides. The compact light-weight air would be better for traveling.
