Hey guys,
Visited Bora Bora for a few days and got to fly the mavic there around the resort. Now this is the kind of location the mavic is built for, to capture the stunning beauty. The conditions were kind windy at times but the bird had no problems maintaining stability. It performed well under water as well
Thought I should share a couple of pictures.
Also, I had no issues carrying the mavic to and fro. During travel, I removed the propellers and kept the batteries in my camera bag to make it seem less as a 'drone'. At Tahiti airport, before checkin a security officer briefed us about what not to carry and there was a big red X next to an image of a drone (Phantom). I didn't say anything and moved on.
