In the settings under the go app 4... I am not sure where its located because I am at work and don't have the tablet or Mavic with me. But it should be in the settings. Maybe someone else can tell u exactly where to find it.

I just went into go4 and searched high and low but did not
Find a means to which I can select or change anything

as far as I know there is no setting for that. It is what it is.

Right -- there is no setting to adjust the distance.

Personally I don’t rely on it anyway.

If you roll back firmware you can set OA distance as a parameter in dji assistant 2.

Make sure the forward cameras are clean and the plastic protectors are removed.

I’m in the process of recalibration with dji assistant 2. I increased the screen size once in the calibration screen but it’s stuck now on 85%.
Gonna mess with this and will have results soon

What is this object you speak of?

I've run my P4 and Mavic full speed at a hill and both have stopped just fine before hitting the ground. The sensors are not that good with smaller objects.

IMHO DJI is behind the times with their obstacle detection software.

I think you can only "adjust" the sensors to a closer angle of view/sensing.
