Mavic Pro and Pro Platinum battery - no warranty !?

I have asked DJI Chat support about this and they have said that I cannot use Platinum battery on my Mavic Pro. And that they can deny my warranty claim if something happens.

Is that so ?

Ironicaly, Platinum battery is 20$ cheaper than Mavic Pro.

I think we all "know" (aka strongly believe) they are the same, but if that's their policy then that's their policy. What can you do?

Well nothing but almost bought 2 Platinum batteries and I have asked them not expecting that answer to get.

Ya remember DJI batteries have full serial numbers too, its possible that information is logged with dji when you run the app etc. If that's what they say I wouldn't risk it ...until your warranty is done of course
