It's far to cold to go out in this weather so I sent my Mavic pro off to get cold for me while I sat in my living room with a coffee. I've included a picture of my house to preclude the torrent of accusations that I am breaking drone rules or somesuch. My house is the one in the middle with the dayglo landing pad on the front lawn. If you zoom in really tight you might see me in the window! I keep my neighbours sweet by giving them the occasional A3+ print of their houses so they are quite happy with me flying around. Roll on the Summer!

I live in Northern Ontario and fly regularly from inside the house in the winter, as well as from my truck.

I usually position myself near a window in the direction that I will be flying, I have never had any difficulties flying. Obviously your range will be severely restricted but I have never found it to be a huge deal, and at least I can fly when it's -30C.

No. I only go a few hundred yards so never a problem with signal.
