My primary reason for picking up Mavic Air was to film some backcountry snowmobiling and snowboarding. I found another great use this March when I headed out into the backcountry of Snoqualmie Pass, Washington to scout some new backcountry snowboard and snowmobile lines. Often once you summit, finding a safe way down on a first descent can be nerve racking even highly dangerous when you unexpectedly end up on a cliff band. So, I've been using Mavic Air to help us scout out routes. It already came in handy as we lost our bearings on one of the mountains in the video. We put Mavic Air up to find our location, then used it safely find our way around a huge cliff band on a first descent.

Snoqualmie Pass, Gold Creek area. Filmed in what the snowmobilers refer to as 'superbowl' which is other side of Presidents bowl and in the Swan Lake area. Mt. Margaret is in one of the shots too.

Thanks....there's a low level run just to the west of you used by the folks out of Whidbey, plus visiting aircraft....didn't know if you knew or not...nice footage.
