I just got my Mavic Mini last week and am looking forward to learning more about the sport of drone piloting. I eventually want to get good enough to launch off of my boat to get some great fishing footage on and around the local three rivers. Nice to meet you all.

You picked a winner in the Mini. Don't be put off by its small size and low price. It's a high performance quad with a great camera.

Be aware, the Mini doesn't handle wind as well as the beefier drones. Just be careful flying in high winds. Read the manual, and practice lost drone recovery. Chances are you will crash your mini, and you will lose your mini. Don't wait until that happens to learn how to recover your lost drone.
