Just bought a secondhand Mavic Pro and am trying to learn to fly it and what the Massachusetts regulations are. Any other pilots in my neck of the woods?

Howdy from the Houston Texas area from a former masshole. I grew up in Needham. As stated above just ensure you get the drone registered with the FAA. I got decal/stickers on Ebay with my FAA number and phone number that i have on my M1Ps

Greetings from sunny, AZ. Used to travel through Groton as a kid with the family when we wen to our cabin up in Marlow, NH. You have a nice area for flying. Hopefully "Taxachusetts" doesn't realize how many residents have drones. They would for sure try to tax flying time and space!

Welcome, I'm from Westford MA but now live in Calabash NC. I fly a mavic 2 pro and love it after flying a Typhoon H by Yuneec. This mavic is so much better and fool proof until you have a system failure like I just did flying high over woods. In less than 20 seconds I went from "1st low battery warning" to "executing a return to home action" and seeing the drone turn towards home and begin the flite, to "weak signal" to "lost signal no contact". Waited 20 minutes for it to show up & nothing. Searched the whole return home flite path area with 2 friends and found nothing. Entered a desperate search for help here on mavic 2 pro forum and hoping someone will respond. they usually do a great job here. Good luck with you mavic you'll love it. I'm looking for a new reasonably priced replacement. Aerialman.
